For over 20 years, Terry Ribera has made his mark on the San Diego tattoo scene with his renowned tattoo studio, Remington Tattoo. His lifelong passion for ink and dedication to clients has earned him a reputation as one of the city’s top tattoo artists.

Terry first discovered his love for tattoos as a creative teenager growing up in the Bay Area. He was drawn to the expressive nature of body art and honed his artistic talents early on. After moving to San Diego in his early 20s and completing a formative apprenticeship at Master Tattoo, Terry felt ready to branch out on his own.

In 2011, Terry founded Remington Tattoo, which has become a neighborhood staple. His goal was to create a welcoming shop where clients feel heard and guide them through the process of getting a meaningful, quality tattoo.

Over the past 20+ years, Terry has developed mastery over neo-traditional, illustrative traditional, blackwork, biomechanical, bio-organic, neo Japanese, ornamental, art nouveau and cover-up styles. He has a keen eye for using elements like color, shading, and line work to make each custom design pop. Terry is constantly expanding his artistic knowledge as well, traveling worldwide to tattoo conventions and finding inspiration in other art forms. Terry’s artwork can be seen at various galleries such as Modern Eden in San Francisco.

When he’s not inking at the shop, you can often find Terry painting, sketching, or working on sculptures. He is dedicated to continuously honing his talents and finding new ways to implement techniques into his tattoo art.
